Add Ability to Record Voice Portal Name in OSSmosis
If a user does not have a VM box (or is a Teams user w/o VM) but needs to be in the company directory, it would be nice, from OSSmosis, to be able to either upload a file with their recorded name or record the name right from the browser.

jeff martis AdminHi Jay,
thanks for the suggestion, but if I understand it correctly, the end user should be able to record their name for their greeting directly from their device or softphone. Typically, the customer admins do not want to have to deal with this as well so I do not anticipate this being a feature in the short term. Thanks. -

Jay WagenerThanks for the reply Jeff. I'm not suire you're understanding the need. Teams users do not use the Broadsoft VM, therefore, not calling the Broadsoft VM. Also, Teams Essentials users do not even come with VM boxes. The need to tell an end user (or 200 hundred+) to setup "two" voicemail boxes (Teams and Broadsoft) is a hard sell to say the least\. For a user to be in the company directory, a recorded name is virtually required. As an admin, I would gladly take the time to record 200 names to prevent the client from wondering what kind of system they bought into that would require them to have to setup two mailboxes, just to be listed in the directory.
